Self-drilling bars

High-performance self-drilling anchoring system for complex, fractured, or unstable ground, combining drilling, grouting, and anchoring in a single, fast and safe operation.

Description

Maplad self-drilling rods are hollow, continuously threaded rods that simultaneously function as drill rods, cement ducts, and structural anchors, simplifying operations and improving safety on the construction site.

The system is designed for geotechnical and underground works where the use of casings is difficult or uneconomical, ensuring reliable performance even in loose, collapsible soils or in the presence of water.

System components
  • Threaded hollow bars with continuous thread type R.
  • Interchangeable drill bits for all types of soil and rock.
  • Nuts, plates, and centering devices for proper load transfer.
  • Extension joints for on-site adjustment of bar length.
  • Stainless steel accessories with anti-corrosion protection.
  • Customized solutions for extreme conditions.
Applications

Suitable for geotechnical works where traditional anchoring systems are impractical or too slow.
